Hello, and welcome to my profile, having been a qualified integrative counselor/therapist and supervisor for well over twenty years, working in private, in-patient, and secondary settings, with a wide variety of individuals, couples, families, and groups from different backgrounds, seeking to address a broad range of psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns, some of which include, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Low Self-esteem, Abuse, Addictions (Inc: Alcohol, Drugs, Gambling, Co-dependency, Sex, and Love), Trauma, Eating Disorders, Dual Diagnosis, Bereavement and Relationship concerns.
My Integrative therapeutic approach has the goal of creating a safe, warm, confidential, and accepting therapeutic relationship, that provides a holistic process of gaining fresh insight into both past and present experiences, exploring beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and behavior, and evaluating how best to address and overcome identified negative concerns
During 20 years as a therapist, it is clear to me that despite the many difficulties that can impact people's well-being, individuals have the capacity to explore and overcome negative influences and regain full functioning, renewed meaning, and purpose in their lives.
