My name is Diane Stewart. I am qualified Counsellor, who has worked in various settings including school and charity counselling services. I offer a compassionate counselling service online and face to face to children and adults. I have experience helping individuals with trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, self harming, relationship issues, sexual abuse, emotional distress, attachment issues & intimacy related issues. I have worked with clients with additions and drug misuse.
I work from a Person-Centred approach. I believe you hold the key to your own healing and the therapeutic relationship we have is vital to your healing process. I believe the core values are important in counselling and they need to be present for healing to take place. They include non- judgment, congruence, respect, dignity, autonomy and empathy,
