I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, with over 20 years’ experience in Social Care, and in particular, domestic and sexual abuse. I am a qualified Domestic Abuse adviser and have working and personal experience of abuse, depression, self-esteem, grief, loss, identity and cultural issues, women’s issues, relationships, and addiction. I also have experience as a group facilitator for peer support groups.
I give my clients space for them to explore their presenting issues in a safe and non-judgemental way. Change of any kind can seem daunting but together we can aim to get at the root of problems, find solutions and overcome obstacles to your growth. I also offer African Centre therapy to people of African/Caribbean descent.
I have an emphatic approach to my clients giving them the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings in a compassionate, safe and non-judgemental way. I currently provide online and telephone counselling; both short term and long term. I will utilise different modalities to suit my clients as no two clients are the same
