About

It’s when you sense, or realise, that things can’t remain the same and yet you feel frozen, unable to act, and you don’t know what to do. A personal crisis might leave you feeling powerless and anxious. Then you find that the ways in which you generally deal with problems aren’t working: the people you’d usually turn to for support aren’t enough, they might be too involved with the issues you’re facing. You might also feel unwell. It’s not uncommon to feel anxious, depressed or emotionally fragile. This is when counselling can help. I offer Face to Face, Walk and Talk, Online and Telephone Counselling.
As your counsellor, my role isn’t to offer advice or to tell you what to do, but to help you find clarity about why you’re experiencing this ‘frozen’ feeling, and how to uncover new ways of living. I’ll use a mix of humanistic approaches and I’ll provide a space to find, explore and understand new ways of dealing with the issues or problems you’re facing.
I provide friendly individual counselling to adults. Please contact me by phone for a free fifteen minute consultation. Following the initial consultation each session will last for fifty minutes and take place weekly. We may agree a specific number of sessions. I work with a wide range of issues.
