I specialise in working with individuals experiencing difficulties due to depression, anxiety and trauma, drawing upon my skills as an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) Practitioner and Interpersonal Psychotherapist for Depression (IPT). I work with an individual to help them gain a better understanding of themselves, their difficulties and strategies improve how they feel.
I draw upon my training in different therapeutic approaches to tailer treatment to the individuals needs. I feel the relationship between therapist and client, is paramount to effective treatment. I have strengths in being able to build effective relationships, helping people feel comfortable to open up and share how they feel.
