Announcement icon During the covid 19 outbreak and subsequent measures put in place my service will be via phone or video.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and consider my service. Taking the first step to accessing therapy takes courage. Has a counsellor i incorporate African centered therapy into my work, this is mainly due to my own self reflection but also due to my previous work with young people and adults, I believe that every individual should have the opportunity to explore there thoughts and emotions without fear or judgement .
I am a person-centred counsellor and I work with children, young people and adults who are experiencing a range of difficulties such as Anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship issues bereavement, loss, low self-esteem and self-harm. Even though I am a person-centred I also incorporate other approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy( CBT)
My beliefs are that providing a non-judgemental and empathetic approach will help to build a trusting therapeutic relationship which I believe is fundamental to the individual progressing in counselling.
