Hello. I am a friendly, experienced clinical psychologist / family therapist. I have been working with people with a range of psychological difficulties for over twenty years. I see adults, children and couples. My therapeutic approach is based on a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Systemic Therapy, If you are experiencing intense distress our work may either take the form of a more intensive, time-limited therapy to help you regain a sense of emotional balance. Equally we may work in a more explorative manner better suited to understanding more deep seated emotional difficulties.
I am committed to effective, evidence-based therapy and to delivering this skilfully, with warmth and compassion. I am active and engaged in sessions. I work hard to ensure the people I see feel understood and can gain insight into their situation and ways of resolving difficulties.
