Do you need to talk to someone? Is anxiety, worry and low self esteem holding you back and stopping you have the life you deserve? Are past negative experiences dictating your present? If you recognise that you want things to be different in your life but don't know how to make that happen then I can help you. My name is Ruth and I am a qualified nurse and accredited cognitive behavioural therapist offering positive support and assistance in Lanark and the surrounding Clydesdale area. I have a consulting room in Lanark where I offer face to face sessions but I also provide remote sessions online if that is more suitable for you.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy which focuses on issues occurring in the 'here and now'. You and I would work together to identify and change your unhelpful thoughts, behaviours and beliefs. Through the development of individual coping strategies and promotion of emotional wellbeing, positive long term outcomes can be achieved.
Therapy can be the best thing you decide to do for yourself, your life and your relationships. I have seen real positive change in clients in a matter of weeks. If you are struggling with your mental health and feel like you would like to speak to someone in complete confidence then please get in touch.
