I bring over 25 years of experience in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Supervision, and Life Coaching, serving individuals of all ages and addressing a wide range of challenges. My extensive background includes roles in Psychiatric Hospitals, Day Programs, Residential Treatment Centres, and Out-Patient Therapy Agencies. I have the privilege of working with children, adults, couples, families, and groups, both within organisational settings and in private practice. My diverse experiences have equipped me to handle any situation with professionalism and compassion, as I believe that no issue is too strange or difficult to address.
My role as a Counsellor is to enable you, the client, to explore many aspects of your life, including your feelings, by talking openly and freely. Talking in such a way is rarely possible with family or friends, who are likely to be emotionally involved and have opinions and biases that may be detrimental to the success of the counselling process.
I will support you, the client, the opportunity to express difficult feelings such as anger, resentment, guilt, anxiety and fear, for example, in a confidential environment. I may encourage you the client, to examine parts of your life that you may have found difficult or impossible to face before.
