I have been providing Counselling, Psychotherapy, Supervision and Life Coaching for over 25 years, working with all ages and every issue imaginable. Nothing surprises me or is too strange or difficult. I have worked in Psychiatric Hospitals, Day Programs, Residential Treatment Centres and Out-Patient Therapy Agencies. I work with children and adults, couples, families, and groups. I work within organisations, as well as privately.
My role as a Counsellor is to enable you, the client, to explore many aspects of your life, including your feelings, by talking openly and freely. Talking in such a way is rarely possible with family or friends, who are likely to be emotionally involved and have opinions and biases that may be detrimental to the success of the counselling process.
I will support you, the client, the opportunity to express difficult feelings such as anger, resentment, guilt, anxiety and fear, for example, in a confidential environment. I may encourage you the client, to examine parts of your life that you may have found difficult or impossible to face before.
