Sometimes difficulties can have a major impact on our well-being, relationships or work. Maybe friends and family can offer some support but we may also choose to see a qualified and experienced practitioner, who can provide a safe space in which to work with whatever is going on for us. I have a wide range of experience, which includes working in an NHS psychology department, at university as Associate Lecturer, in a GP practice as a Lead Therapist and Supervisor, delivering Integrative Therapy, using Psychodynamic and Person-Centred approaches, CBT and CFT (Compassion-Focussed Therapy) to NHS services and in private practice.
I work with the following issues on a daily basis: Anxiety and panic attacks. Depression, procrastination. Trauma/PTSD (post traumatic stress). Relationships/family. Self esteem. Anger/emotion regulation. Additionally I specialise in: OCD. Working with parents of children with special needs (SEN) and with partners of people on the autism spectrum.
It is very important to find the right therapist and I therefore offer the initial 20 min (online or phone) free of charge. This will give us the opportunity to find out if I am the right fit for you. I offer sessions indoors or outdoors, depending on suitability. Indoor sessions are £100 (50 min), outdoor sessions are £90 (50-60 min).
