Hi, I'm Clare. I work with children, young people & adults who are struggling with anxiety, neurodiversity, identity, exam stress, life transitions, including those waiting for CAMHS support. I’m also a bereavement and grief specialist, & an accredited sight-loss counsellor with RNIB. I have a particular interest in supporting children & young people & offer play and talking therapy. I work with loss in its many forms, whether it be bereavement, suicide, divorce, separation, retirement, disability, miscarriage, etc. I have a compassionate space to process loss & its meaning to you. My work is kind, compassionate & relaxed.
As a Pluralistic Counsellor, I offer a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, compassionate, down-to-earth and collaborative approach. I believe Therapy should feel like a safe conversation where you can be honest without fear of judgement. Together we will work at your pace to understand what’s going on & build confidence, resilience & find coping strategies.
Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child, a young person exploring and navigating changes in your life, or an adult struggling to process work challenges or family circumstances, or dealing with the loss of a someone close to you, then I am here to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can be heard, understood and supported.
