Offering a safe and secure private studio space and also online and telephone sessions where you can explore thoughts and feelings not only through the medium of art and creativity, but also through spoken communication in an non judgemental and welcoming environment. My experience and expertise can help to facilitate your journey, however long or short, to understanding, making sense and acceptance of the issues that may be presenting to you. I aim to provide and facilitate a healing and creative space to bring about change and understanding.
Working with adults, children and young people since 2001 and with experience of working in several large organisations across health, education and criminal justice. I have worked as a private practitioner from 2015 working with different age groups from all sorts of walks of life- working toward expression, nuturing and realising acceptance and change.
No previous experience of art making or artistic ability is required. Art psychotherapy can help improve confidence, self esteem and communication. It can be non-directive and non-threatening and verbal responses are not always necessary - it relies on alternative means of communication other than speech.
