I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist offering therapy using a formulation driven (understanding) approach. I offer therapy for adults and young people who may be struggling with any emotional difficulty and are looking for a therapist able to deliver both person-centred and evidence-based therapy.
We will work to build a safe and containing therapeutic alliance. I believe that this alliance is central to the development of trusting collaboration that will help unlock key change. Psychological therapy can help individuals gain a better understanding of themselves and also help equip them with ways to manage difficulties; leaving them feeling empowered.
I have been trained in a range of evidence-based therapies to help individuals overcome their difficulties. Approaches drawn on (but not limited to) include; Cognitive Behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment, EMDR, Compassionate approaches and Narrative Therapies. I am CBT accredited. I am EMDR trained. I am certified in ADOS autism assessments.
