I believe the first steps towards counselling can be a very daunting prospect. If you are feeling anxious and reluctant about taking that step. I am here to help make the process an easy one. I have worked with many issues such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, stress, anger, bullying, to name a few. Together we can help to break negative cycles of behaviour or thought patterns. Helping to regain control of your life. Whilst creating a greater understanding as to why this might be occurring. If you find it difficult to talk, then together, we can help to find the words that may be unspeakable.
I'm a fully qualified and accredited counsellor with a wealth of experience working with a broad range of issues. I specialise in psychodynamic counselling but have experience working with more skills based approaches like CBT. Together we can find an approach that will suit an individuals needs. Helping to bring about positive change and growth.
Along with my private practice I have worked in University Counselling Services, so have a broad experience of working with young adults and the issues that arise at this time of life. An initial phone conversation can help find the right time and place to help start the process towards counselling, or an appointment to talk face to face to discuss options.
