While therapy isn’t about giving advice, as a humanistic integrative therapist I offer empathic understanding alongside gentle challenging of perspectives to help you process emotions and change behaviours that don’t serve you well. Life is complicated, and part of being human is contending with an array of emotions, challenges and relationships, which often become unbalanced. It can be difficult to navigate these ‘bumps in the road’ and we may feel overwhelmed and stuck. For many of us, we are struggling with past traumas or present conflicts, and often both, so finding a way forward can seem incomprehensible.
I help to break down and rewrite the stories we tell ourselves about who we are, the relationships we are in, the way our environment impacts us, and how our past experiences have shaped us. I have experience in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, internal storytelling, neurodiversity masking, primal wounds, disordered eating, and general overwhelm.
Once you have made the brave decision to explore your thoughts, feelings and life experiences we will start the therapeutic journey with a 30 minute initial online assessment for you to share your current and past circumstances, any emotions you are struggling with and what change you are looking for, as well as to ask me any questions.
Take the first step to help. Claire England now
