I am an experienced, humanistic, relational counsellor . I trained and work integratively. This means I use several different models of counselling intertwined, leaning more to one than the others as required by the individual. These include Person Centred, CBT, Psychodynamic and Existential . Post qualifying, I have trained extensively in working with trauma. I believe the quality of the relationship between client and counsellor is very important. I see my clients in private, quiet and comfortable rooms in Gillingham town centre with public car parks available nearby and easy access to public transport link.
I have worked successfully with people suffering with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex PTSD and dissociative disorders and this includes survivors of rape and sexual abuse (as adults and in childhood). By nature I am warm, kind, caring, friendly and gentle with a good sense of humour. My aim is to put you at ease with me and help you move forward .
Whatever your difficulties are, I am happy to meet with you to discuss your needs, how I work and how I may be able to help you.
