About
My name's Chris and I'm a UKCP psychotherapist in advanced training based in Hastings, East Sussex. I'm committed to helping you explore your experience and your unique place in the world. I work with individuals, couples, and groups from all backgrounds and affirm cultural and identity diversity. I am practiced in helping clients with relationship, sexual and intimacy issues, as well as adverse childhood experiences. I also work with addictions. Maybe you are feeling generally anxious or low or feel that your life lacks focus, purpose, or meaning. Alongside you, I can help you make sense of your situation.
As a therapist in advanced MSc training, I offer counselling and psychotherapy using transactional analysis, an orientation that focuses on the quality of our relationships. I am interested in how you experience and make sense of the world and how you interact with others. I believe in personal growth and a spiritual dimension to life.
A good therapist-client relationship is built on empathy, trust and confidentiality. I work ethically and believe that all relationships are built on mutual respect. We'll co-create how we work together and you will be in control. My intention is to be alongside you during challenges and to help you gain a sense of perspective, awareness and opportunity.

- Training: Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy
In 2023 I will qualify for the Certified Transactional Analyst, CTA(P) MSc. This is a five-year, level 7 training.
