About
I am a Clinical Psychologist who offers psychological assessment and treatment for a wide range of difficulties. In my NHS posts, I work in an HIV & Sexual Health service and a specialist mental health team that provides input to inpatients and outpatients struggling with physical health problems. I am particularly experienced at seeing people and couples presenting with sexual difficulties, such as painful sex or unreliable erections. I also have a specialist interest in anxiety disorders and the application of cognitive behavioural therapy in its treatment.
I have completed doctoral-level training in multiple therapeutic approaches: psychodynamic, systemic and cognitive behavioural therapies. This means that I can draw on a wide range of psychological theories and treatments to make sense of your difficulties and plan a tailored treatment plan that is effective.
In addition to a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Essex, an MSc in Health Psychology from UCL, I am currently completing clinical training in psychosexual and relationship psychotherapy. I have completed additional trainings in EMDR therapy and administering the ADOS-2, which is an assessment for Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
