Developing understanding and change through therapy maybe feels scary, or exciting, or both. I have years of experience supporting adults at all different points in life to tap into their courage and grow. I take a curious, explorative and active approach, using evidence based therapies such a EMDR and compassion focused therapy (CFT).
We all experience difficulties in life. I also work in the NHS in trauma-focused services, so I'm aware of how much life's challenges can affect how we see ourselves and the world around us. Therapy can help you move away from 'what no longer serves you' to more grounded, healthy and even joyful ways of living.
As I grow as a therapist, I am increasingly inviting clients to consider how they relate to themselves, how dynamics such as power impact their lives, and how to be more of who they want to be in the world. Compassion is core to how I aim to work with you- with care and warmth while facing the truths of your life together.
