For over twenty years, I have supported individuals navigating deep and often overwhelming psychological distress. Many emotional and relational difficulties develop within the context of relationships and lived experience, shaping how we understand ourselves, relate to others and engage with the world. If your emotions feel overwhelming, relationships feel unstable, or past trauma keeps showing up in the present, this is often a response to what you have lived through. My work is grounded in the belief that these difficulties are understandable responses to experience, rather than inherent flaws.
I specialise in complex trauma and longstanding interpersonal difficulties, including challenges related to attachment, emotional regulation and patterns that may have developed in the context of unsafe or invalidating relationships. My approach is grounded in attachment theory, Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT).
Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, I work collaboratively to explore underlying patterns that maintain distress. By fostering greater awareness through compassion and non-judgment, I guide clients in meaningful dialogue that promotes clarity, insight and personal growth.
