I have BA (Hons) in Person-centred counselling, which has helped in my understanding of various issues we face in our daily lives, garnered during my training and working with various clients, and offering pastoral care to members of my local community. These issues may include but not limited to depression, anxiety, bereavement, stress, trauma, divorce, etc. I will work in an empathetic, non-directive and non-judgemental way to ensure you get what you need from counselling by openly discussing and making shared decisions with you, with the belief that different clients need different things at different times
My approach to Counselling & Psychotherapy is Pluralistic which is based on Humanistic and Person-Centred values and skills, mainly on the core conditions of congruence, acceptance, and empathy. This approach draws on a range of methods with the aim to understand each of my client's experiences and how any presented issues might be addressed.
