Do you want to break free from addiction, anxiety or some other way that trauma is casting a shadow over your life? I am an internationally trained and registered Trauma & Addictions Counsellor. My practice is focused on anxieties, all forms of addictions, distressed eating, and other effects of trauma. This also involves relationship issues, problematic patterns of thinking and behaviour, body image, sex, shame and guilt. These problematic coping mechanisms are often tangled up with underlying pain and distress, which remains hidden from us, and I use a variety of counselling practices to make these visible with clients.
I have outlined below my training, qualifications and the modalities I practise. However, the most important element of your therapy is our relationship. I specialise in helping clients to speak openly and confidently about issues which they have kept hidden. My practice is focused on making you feel safe and understood.
I work with all aspects of trauma recovery on a short-term, long-term, and open-ended basis. I find it helpful to offer a free, 30-minute call to potential clients. Email or call me to set up an initial call.
