As a psycho-dynamic practitioner, I see my role first as to provide you with a safe and confidential space in which explore whatever issues you may be experiencing. At unpacking what seem to be the problem, I would listen up to the symptoms but my interest would be on the collaborative understanding of the underlying cause. Exploring and understanding this, would be the body of the work. And it is that, what brings change, and a change that is lasting because will be located not in the symptom but on what caused it in the first place.
