Hello, welcome. I can imagine how difficult it must be searching through the profiles trying to find the right therapist. Making the decision to seek help for your child/grandchild is a brave one and sometimes it can be difficult. I have been told by clients that I am calm, warm, welcoming, and approachable; and can put them at ease. I am a Child and Adolescent Therapist who specialises in 7-25 years olds who until recently worked in CAMHS for the NHS for over six years. I decided to work in private practice after seeing so many children whom I could help turned away by CAMHS or who were waiting a long time to get help.
I offer a safe space to work through difficulties and offer tools to reduce symptoms quickly. I specialise in anger, anxiety, depression, behavioural problems, ASD, ADHD, school refusing and trauma. Many clients self-report to feeling much better after 6-8 sessions. I'm also a qualified Nutrition Health Coach as there is a link between diet and mental health
I qualified over 16 years ago as a psychotherapist. I am registered with Health and Care Professions Council. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and use mindfulness techniques.
