I am a professionally trained Psychotherapist and Counsellor working at The Practice East Molesey and Weybridge with adults and young people aged 16+. I understand that entering therapy can be a daunting prospect. My aim is to create a rewarding and nurturing experience to help you heal. I work with a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, abuse and relationship challenges and dynamics. Whatever your reasons for accessing therapy I focus on developing a strong therapeutic relationship and offer a non-judgmental, compassionate space to help you discover and understand what is happening for you.
My Integrative training brings together a variety of approaches and strategies which are both exploratory and practical to facilitate change and growth. Specifically, I draw on psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based ideas.
Within the work it can be useful to consider your relationships, past and present or exploring unhelpful coping behaviours and thought patterns that you may have developed to manage your difficulties. The clarity and self-awareness gained will help you more easily navigate life’s challenges and enhance your mental health.
