I am a chartered psychologist drawing on eastern philosophies, compassion focused practices and evidence based psychology to help clients fully understand experiences, to create dialogue and compassion for all the different emotions, thoughts, behaviours, impulses experienced. Living as a human can be confusing, complex and lonely and through my work I help clients to create more clarity and to develop ways of offering kindness to painful experience. I draw on talking, role plays, meditations, visualisations and other practices that might help get to know experiences in more depth.
I have worked in a number of different NHS settings including Anxiety and Mood service the Gender Identity Clinic, Eating Disorder Service, and a specialist service for people with suicidal thoughts and feelings. I run the Mindful Psychology Practice and have a team of associate therapists.
It can feel daunting reaching out to a therapist. I aim to create a safe and non-judgemental space in which we can explore whatever it is that brings you to therapy. Feel free to contact me via email or phone and I will get back to you within 48 hours. I offer a free initial consultation, which can be booked online.
