I’m Charlotte, a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering outdoor therapy sessions in Greno Woods, Grenoside, alongside indoor counselling. I work with adults who feel disconnected from themselves after difficult relational experiences and who may struggle with people-pleasing, self-doubt, or repeating painful relationship patterns.
Many clients I work with have lived in environments where love or acceptance felt conditional, leading to difficulties trusting themselves or setting boundaries. Some of these experiences may be understood as emotional or spiritual abuse, though no label is required.
I support adults who are healing from emotional or spiritual abuse, people-pleasing, and patterns of toxic relationships. Emotional abuse can include manipulation, gaslighting, excessive criticism, or controlling behaviour, which can their self esteem trust in yourself. Spiritual abuse involve coercion, shaming, or misuse of spiritual beliefs to control
