I am a trauma informed therapist - my understanding of Trauma being the impact of any event or envioronment we feel or felt overwhelmed by and we, or those who cared for us, lacked or didn´t have access to, the means or resources to protect us and keep us physically and emotionally safe. I also use trauma informed approaches to couple and relationship work.
The right fit between therapist and client is a fundamental aspect in any effective therapy process.
