My name is Charlotte and I am a qualified Person-Centered therapist from a dual-heritage and working-class background. I will be with you as you explore whatever is important to you in a non-judgmental, safe and empathic space. I work from a beautiful and peaceful location surrounded by nature, or alternatively I can offer online or telephone sessions. I have over 7 years of experience working with adults and children aged 11+. I have particular interest in working with clients around complex family dynamics, complex childhood experiences, and estrangement. I am also an LGBTQIA+ & neurodivergence-friendly practitioner and person.

I work from a non-pathologising and trauma-informed perspective, meaning our therapeutic work together would be exploring ‘what happened to you?’ rather than ‘what is wrong with you?’. I believe that our lived experiences shape our mental health, and that together we can safely work through this with patience, understanding, and validation.
Therapy is about a relationship created between myself and my client that is empowering, accepting, safe, and confidential. It is my hope and goal that sessions help clients to find more peace, acceptance, and contentment in their lives. Please feel free to send me an email or WhatsApp message if you would like to ask anything - I look forward to hearing f
