I have worked predominantly with clients with a EUPD (BPD) diagnosis helping them to identify where their behaviours and thought patterns developed and to work on ways of coping with the crippling overwhelm that comes with BPD, to get to a place that feels like they have regained control. I have also worked extensively with people coming out of domestic abuse or prolonged exposure to relationships with narcissistic controlling & coercive people. I also work with addiction. We work together, in a non directive way, to identify patterns of behaviour and develop new pathways to break free from people pleasing and to find their voice.
You can expect to work in a safe space at your own pace, I offer therapy, which at times can be difficult and I acknowledge that, but I will work with you to ensure that you have tools to do this in a way that enables you to be able to face, explore, feel and acknowledge those feelings that you may have been consciously or unconsciously navigating around. I
My work aims to help you find your true inner voice, develop healthy boundaries and a patience within yourself that enables you to speak kindly to yourself and be present enough to take the time to slow things down and give yourself the space you need to feel in control of your own life.
