I am an integrative therapist and counsellor with an interest in the unique experiences of clients who struggle to "fit in". I work closely with clients who have struggled with self-esteem and identity, relationship issues, family conflict, life transitions, and suspected/ late-diagnosed ADHD. I am particularly interested in the impact of structural power differences, working with clients through issues to do with patriarchy, race, culture and more. I work with creative tools in addition to talking therapy, including meditation, art and nature.
I offer warmth and gentle curiosity about your experiences in the world. Grounded in a relational approach to psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapy, I respond to you as a unique individual with compassion and the awareness that we are shaped by our experience and that we can create meaningful change through understanding ourselves.
The therapeutic relationship can be healing and greatly rewarding, providing a safe place to work collaboratively through the process of change. I offer a free 15-min phone call for you to see if you might feel comfortable with me, if that goes well we can arrange a full 50-min introductory session as an opportunity to experience how we might work together.
