About
Making the decision to seek help is a strength, not a sign of weakness, by acknowledging that you have reached the point of needing additional support. The first step is always the most difficult but I can support you as you embark on your journey to strive for change. Finding the right counsellor is really important as you need to feel comfortable enough to share your vulnerability and know that you will be accepted and not judged. I believe that everyone deserves to have a safe, confidential space where they can feel respected and heard. I work with individuals, couples and groups of up to four people over the age of 18.
I am a person-centred counsellor which means that the work is client led. I offer counselling to meet your individual needs. You decide how you want to use sessions, what you would like to discuss in each session and how many sessions you would like. I work with you to understand your unique experiences and help you process and make sense of your responses.
It can be overwhelming to know where to start when looking for help and support but I will try to make the process as easy as possible so that you feel accepted, heard, understood and supported with whatever is causing you difficulty at this time. We can talk about any concerns you have and try to find a way of working that you feel most comfortable with.
