I am a clinical psychologist experienced in helping clients with a wide range of issues, with particular expertise in the area of trauma and PTSD. I have completed post-doctoral training in EMDR and am able to offer this to both children and adults. My approach in therapy is very warm, collaborative and non-judgemental and I will ensure you feel at ease in our sessions. Together we can make sense of whatever difficulties are impacting you (or your child) and I will use evidence-based techniques to work with you to reduce your emotional distress, increase your wellbeing and help you to thrive in your life.
I have two main specialist areas: adolescent/young adult mental health, and trauma and PTSD (for children and adults). I am trained in both EMDR and TF-CBT for treating trauma and PTSD. I am also experienced in providing psychological treatment for depression, anxiety, OCD and emotional regulation difficulties.
