About
I am also Functional Medicine Health and a Clinical Supervisor as well as a Psychotherapist and so offer a service called "Functional Psychotherapy". I specialise with child/adult trauma from either the real world and/or any issue that involves technology (computers/social media/smartphones/Internet). I work with infants/toddlers/children/adolescents and adults for short and long term work. I work creatively, with technology, online or off and will also provide 'walk and talk' sessions if needed.
My specialist area is working with any issue that relates to a trauma or abuse and how this affects a persons body and mind after the event, Whether that be immediate or later in life. I use technology to help where needed as this can give quick and reliable scientific answers. I am versed in a functional medicine approach using my training in nutrigenomics.
I use technology for trauma such as heart rate variability software. I use this with children/adults who have issues around trauma/anxiety/sleep. I use a simple version of Neurofeedback (brain wave) technology too. I use a body & play (somatic) approach. I also use computer games which can involve some of the above, as well as computer gaming.
