I have over 22 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I specialise in helping people recover from past adverse/traumatic experiences (including toxic relationships). I adopt a holistic, supportive and person-centred approach and I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a mechanism for change. I believe that by creating the right conditions for personal growth that most people can find solutions to their difficulties. As well as therapy I also offer life coaching. My approach focuses on supporting people to manage transitions, overcome the inner critic and step into their power.
I qualified as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology in 2003. I have since undertaken further training in narrative therapy which focuses on the stories people bring to therapy. I am an accredited Eye Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR) therapist.
I am a friendly and compassionate therapist. I have worked with many different types of presenting issues. I know it can be a hard to take the first step to access help. I really understand this. I adopt a non-judgemental and holistic and integrative approach and work closely with my clients to find the best solutions for them as individuals.
