I offer a confidential, safe space to talk about those issues that are currently causing you concern and emotional pain. It can help to talk to an independent, qualified person when we have run out of ways of helping ourselves. It may be that you feel that you keep repeating the same mistakes in relationships or you can't find the enthusiasm to make the most of life, or problems such as anxiety and low self esteem are holding you back. You may feel that you would like to have greater insight into who you are or work out how you want your life to be.
I work alongside clients to enable them to work out their issues and look at how thoughts and behaviours may be getting in their way. I believe my task is to encourage exploration and greater insight and to support clients as they decide upon the positive changes they wish to make.
Coming to therapy is not an easy decision for everyone to make. However, once you make that decision you may find it interesting, emotionally supportive, a way of finding your way through a difficult time in your life. It may well be an investment in your future well being.
