As an HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist, chartered with the British Psychological Society, I aim to think with my clients about their current challenges and also about their hopes for the future. I offer compassionate psychological support, tailored to suit the needs of each individual. I approach each client gently and respectfully in order to identify helpful ways of working together, which will assist them in reaching their potential. I aim to promote psychological healing and growth and to help contain overwhelming feelings, such as: sadness; anxiety; upsetting childhood experiences; and panic. I am an integrative practitioner, trained to work in: Person-Centered Therapy; Psychodynamic approaches; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Mindfulness; EMDR; and compassion-based work.
