Hello, my name is Cath and I am a clinical psychologist. Thank you for having a look at my profile. I have worked in the NHS for several years, offering support to parents and caregivers, children and young people. I offer online and in-person specialist therapeutic input for a range of difficulties for children, young people and adults, including health-related anxiety, generalised anxiety, and trauma. I am here to support you through the current difficulties you may be facing. I think it’s really important to build a strong therapeutic relationship so that you feel comfortable and supported and so this is forefront in my mind.
The types of difficulties I am able to help you with include: Symptoms of trauma/posttraumatic stress disorder, stress/anxiety, sleep difficulties and health-related anxiety. I draw upon a number of therapeutic approaches dependent on your individual needs and what feels a good fit for you.
It can feel difficult to reach out for support and I think that's where a free initial 15 minute telephone conversation can help. We can talk about your hopes for support and whether we think an assessment session would be helpful. Please do get in touch if you would like to arrange an initial telephone call and I will do my best to put you at ease.
