My name is Cat and I am a somatically-informed integrative therapist offering online sessions to adult clients across the UK. Before becoming an adult counsellor, I worked for 7 years supporting young people's mental health in education, using therapeutic techniques such as EFT (Tapping), Mindfulness and Drawing and Talking.
Now working with adults with a range of presentations for local charities and in my private practise, my integrative somatic counselling training allows me to offer a more embodied approach to traditional talking therapy, touching in to my clients' felt sensations as well as their thoughts and emotions.
By working online, I am able to keep my prices low and my schedule flexible, to ensure I am as accessible as possible for the benefit of my clients. I can help support a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement, addiction, abuse, low self-esteem, and more.
Combining integrative counselling with somatic awareness allows us to lean into body and mind, helping my clients to create a more whole sense of self. After building a relationship which feels safe and trusting, we move gently from helpful resources like grounding and breathwork, integrating moments of activation, to build a more resilient nervous system.
