Hi, I'm Cat, thank you for considering my profile. I offer person-centered counselling in-person at a central Peterborough location (PE1) or if preferred remotely online or via telephone. The work we do will vary according to your needs. Within my counselling practice, I offer a non-judgmental, affirming and person-centered approach that welcomes individuals of all ages, genders, sexualities, races, and backgrounds. I am committed to providing compassionate trauma-informed care.
We will collaborate to understand whatever you want to bring to counselling from multiple dimensions and work through a pathway of stabilizing, processing feelings and the integration of new tools and concepts. I am confident working with a wide range of situations.
I believe human beings thrive when we feel understood and connected to. With a good therapeutic relationship we can unfold and explore our full potential. I came into counselling after my own experience as a client so I do understand the apprehension that can come with seeking support.
