You might be feeling anxious and stressed at the moment or looking for support for something that has been an issue for a long time. I will create a space for you to explore things you might not have been able to speak about before. I have a wide experience base as the foundation to my private practice. This includes Psychiatric rehabilitation, drug and alcohol treatment services, eating disorders, acute adolescent psychiatric inpatient settings and work with children and young people in the care system. I work integratively which means I draw from a range of therapeutic models to create a care plan that best fits your needs.
Whilst I ensure that my interventions are evidence based and grounded in theoretical knowledge I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in fostering change. I do not believe that one approach will be right for everyone and will work with you to make sure that the treatment you receive is the best fit for you.
