About
Hello and a warm welcome. Counselling is a process in which a trained therapist can help you to understand and deal with difficult emotions that you may be experiencing. These can be linked with previous difficult life experiences. People often seek counselling when they are going through challenging times in their lives. You may be feeling low, anxious or depressed. I can help you make sense of what is happening and try to help you to find ways of dealing with this.
I bring a wealth of knowledge to my counselling practice. For the past 13 years, I had been working within the NHS. My experience has been gained by working within multiple supporting roles. I currently work with an organisation seeing clients suffering with many addictions , as well as running a small Private Practice in the centre of Edinburgh.
I will offer a safe place for you to explore your difficulties: I won’t be able to give you all the answers but counselling may help you to find the solution most appropriate to you. Together we can explore and develop your self-awareness, helping you explore the things that can make life feel a struggle.
