Having musculoskeletal injury and chronic pain can be tough, especially when it affects how you feel, how you feel about yourself, and stops you doing the things you love. I’m a personable psychologist who specialises in injury and chronic pain. Research shows that if you understand your pain, you hurt less. So together, we can explore your pain experience, answer your questions, and find ways for you to get back in control of your recovery and being you again. My support uses a unique blend of psychology support, latest knowledge from pain science that tells us how and why we feel pain, and wellbeing promotion.

You know your pain best, but have questions and concerns. Together we; make sense of it, become clearer of its causes, and reduce your pain-related worries. This will give you confidence; in what to do to recover better, to move more/better; and to think in more helpful ways. I can also work with your medic, physio, etc.

In all, injury has affected my life and I’ve had chronic back pain, so I know how important it is for you to recover effectively. I have low client numbers so I can focus on gaining you positive results: my clients typically make good gains in 3-6 sessions. After every session, I send you a summary report, info sheets and ideas for moving forward that you can digest at your pace.
