| Português My purpose as a Psychotherapist is to bring self-awareness to the client of their emotional issues, behaviours and their way of connecting with themselves and the world. My work consists of walking with the client through the discoveries, experiences and emotions, in the here and now, aiming for self-awareness. My goal is to give a non-judgmental, comprehensive and safe environment for my patients, building a trustful therapist-client relationship. I have a considerable capacity of putting myself in others shoes, empathizing and feeling together with my patients.
I have more than 19 years of experience as a psychotherapist, working with adults, couples and families with a range of issues. I have trained on Gestalt-therapy, Systemic Therapy and EMDR, but I also use some techniques from different approaches. I am fully qualified and insured to practice psychotherapy in the UK. I am a member of BACP and UKAGP.
