I am a fully qualified Counsellor, i am an accredited member of the National Counselling Psychotherapy Society. (NCPS) I have always had a passion for helping others, and I have experience working with anxiety, depression, loss, bereavement and domestic abuse. I work with adults (18+) and my aim is to help clients overcome their struggles and develop self-understanding to enjoy a meaningful healthier, and happier future. I endeavour to create a safe space for clients to feel comfortable to be able to share things with me that are preventing them from moving forward.
I work in an integrative way to tailor the needs of Individuals presenting issues and I can weave the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into my work when I feel it's appropriate. I offer long-term and short-term therapy. I have completed a training course for ADHD and Neurodiversity in the counselling room.
I am caring a good listener, empathetic, non-judgmental, and I work with clients in a way that suits them, I offer a warm confidential, comfortable space to enable clients to explore their feelings, the most important is my clients feel safe and comfortable in the environment i work with them.
