Whether you’re dealing with anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, estrangement, family issues, identity, loneliness, menopause, mortality, powerlessness, relationships, or simply want to talk things through, I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space to explore what you’re feeling, and how you can manage it.
We’re all different and we all need to find our own way. I can help you do that. The world throws a lot at us, and expects a lot of us. And, very often, we expect a lot of ourselves too. For many of us, it can help to talk through what we’re dealing with, to help us understand what’s going on and find a way forward.
I am a fully-qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, with over 20 years experience working in diversity and inclusion. I have helped people manage workplace stress, sort out who they are, explore coming out as gay, bi or trans, grieve for their parents and partners and pets, work their way through anger and frustration, and address addictive behaviours.
I work from my home in Penrith in Cumbria. There is plenty of parking and it is private. I also work by video (using Zoom, WhatsApp video, etc.) and by phone. If you would like to work with me, we can meet or talk within a few days to answer any questions you might have.
