Hi I’m Carly. I’m an integrative therapist which means I don’t believe there’s a one size fits all approach to therapy so I will work to tailor therapy to you. I specialise though in working with children & young people, women and the LGBTQIA+ community. I have years of experience working for respected charities such as Women's Aid, The National Domestic Violence Helpline, NSPCC, Off The Record and most recently as the young peoples therapist for Wired Differently. I’m also an artist, and a believer in the healing power of creativity. I am happy to work with you in this way if you want to, though equally there’s no pressure to.
I work to empower my clients in a safe space and accessible space. I also have a lived and professional awareness of neurodiversity and queerness which I’m mindful of and sensitive to in the therapy room. Overall it’s my aim to work with you to develop your inner resources, in response to the challenges of the outside world.
If you feel you want someone to talk to, who will support you to explore your emotions while accepting you just as you are then please do reach out to me. Currently I'm only offering online sessions but I expect to be offering in person sessions again in April at my practice room in Bristol.
