About
People come to counselling for many reasons; they feel stuck, lonely, lack direction or are engaging in unhealthy relationships to name but a few. Whatever your reason for seeking counselling it will be driven by a desire/need to change aspects of your life that no longer serve you. Taking the first step to reach out for support can feel scary and overwhelming yet demonstrates a huge amount of bravery. I believe we all want to be heard, seen and truly accepted for all of who we are. Counselling can be a safe place to allow yourself to experience this, to accept you are enough, as you are.
I am an experienced, BACP accredited counsellor working from a Gestalt perspective, offering one to one, short and long-term counselling. I take a holistic approach in understanding what it means to be human. This involves holding your relationship with your thoughts, feelings, soul, body and social environment.
I provide an accepting and empowering relationship, working collaboratively to explore what brings you to therapy, your hopes and your fears. My therapeutic practice is defined by a relational way of being, built on my warmth, creativity, empathy, integrity and humour. Contact me to arrange a no obligation first session.
