I work with people who are facing difficult life issues, some feel depressed and/or anxious, and unsure how to get out of the life position they find themselves in. Others experience problems managing difficult emotions caused by grief or trauma and find themselves in a maze of emotions that feel impossible to navigate. Some experience relational problems; families, partners, work colleagues and other relationships can sometimes be at the centre of hard to mange emotions. I tailor therapy to your needs, we can set goals, explore how we and others function in relationships, or use techniques; I leave these choices to you.
I offer an 'integrated' model of psychotherapy that includes Existential therapy, Transactional Analysis and neuroscience, this allows us to explore your unique world and the relationships within this, we can then work toward the changes you wish to make in your life. I offer 60 minute sessions weekly or fortnightly and work from my home in Beverley.
I know life can throw difficulties & challenges at us which can be very distressing and this can be accompanied by painful feelings and emotions; by being alongside you we can explore your unique experiences to gain understanding and meaning. By gaining insight we are crafting an authentic response to our world which gives us potential to move forward.
